Finance Director
We are currently seeking an experienced, result driven Country Finance Director to join our multinational, market leader production client based in Pest County.
As Country Finance Director – reporting into the Global CFO and the local site Managing Director – you will have end-to-end performance accountability in delivering the financial results in line with expectations. While managing a smaller (4-5 heads) local finance team, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and developing financial systems and processes for all the activities in the plant, ensuring effective financial controls & reporting in compliance with the corporate policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper staffing and development of the local Finance Team (4-5 heads)
- Ensure proper financial governance of the country Legal Entity(ies), deliver financial results in line with expectations
- Participation to site leadership team meetings / S&OP meetings
- Deep involvement in decisions processes with key financial implications (CAPEX, budget, re-forecasting, landing, performance monitoring)
- Review and approve financial clauses of contracts with customers
- Responsible for cash out (all means of payment done by the site - third party payments, payroll, corporate cards, etc.)
- Entry point on financial topics (insurance, pensions, etc.) and management reporting
- Responsible for statutory / tax reporting and filling for the local legal entity(ies)
- Roll-out of the yearly self-assessment of Internal controls & reporting
- Country coordinator for audits with Finance scope, building / strengthening relationships with external partners, audit / chartered firms
- Develop local executive team understanding of key financial indicators: developing financial background, accountability, connecting operational decisions with financial implications
Requirements:
- University / college degree
- At least 10 year’s professional experience in finance with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as Finance Director / Country CFO in industrial (production) environments
- Deep understanding of end-to-end finance / controlling / accounting processes, strong experience in overseeing full finance scopes of a manufacturing organisations
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Solid knowledge of SAP & Costing methods
- Demonstrated capabilities in driving financial performance turn-around / strong improvement combining profitability and cash flow delivery in line with expectations
- Management responsibility of a local team, ideally having worked with shared service centers
- Demonstrated value creation mindset in partnering with local General Manager
