CONTROLLING LEADER / PLANT CONTROLLER

We are seeking an experienced Controlling Leader / Senior Controller on behalf of our client, that is a multinational, market leader production company, running a 300+FTE factory in Zalaegerszeg.

The main aim of the role is to oversee all controlling, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting areas of the production site (with a strong focus on process development and ERP developments!), leading a team of 4 finance professionals, reporting directly into the Managing Director (Plant Director).

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all controlling and reporting areas of the Zalaegerszeg site
• Overseeing and developing budget preparation, forecasting and management reporting areas, identifying process optimization opportunities
• Acting as a trusted Business Partner to the site leadership team and to the regional functional management as well
• Managing, mentoring and training a team of 4 heads, setting milestones, reviewing performances
• Ensuring appropriate internal controls, identifying risks and proactively suggesting solutions
• Coordinating financial closing activities, overseeing annual financial statement preparation with external support
• Monthly overhead and balance sheet forecasting
• Providing analysis on performances and variances, business requirements
• Active participation in coordinating external audit processes
• Providing support to the Plant Director in ROI calculations, ensure efficient support in strategic decisions, CAPEX areas

Requirements:

• University / college degree
• At least 3-5 years’ experience as a Controlling Manager or Finance Manager in a production / industrial environment
• Strong track record in reporting / budgeting / controlling management and driving related process development initiatives
• Confident, fluent English language knowledge
• Advanced Excel knowledge
• Outstanding communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, ability to act as Senior Finance Business Partner to site leadership teams
