Finance Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced, result driven Finance Manager to join our multinational, market leader production client (250+ FTE factory) in Komárom-Esztergom County.

As Finance Manager – reporting to the local Plant Director – you will have end-to-end accountability in delivering the financial results in line with expectations, covering all accounting, controlling and reporting areas of the plant, managing a finance team of 4-5 heads, identifying and driving process development / process optimization actions where possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the finance team (4-5 FTEs)
• Management reporting, financial planning & analysis, variance analysis
• Overseeing annual budgeting processes, forecasting
• Leading the monthly and annual accounting close processes
• Developing / optimizing accounting & controlling methods and policies, ensuring efficient internal controls and transparency
• Preparation of financial reports and statements, performing related data analysis
• Overseeing daily treasury and payment processes
• Fixed assets management
• Building and maintaining relationships with relevant partner departments and authorities, financial institutions
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts
• Coordination of annual audit processes, keeping contact with relevant external partner(s)
• Working with banks as point of contact for inquiries

Requirements:

• University / college degree
• At least 7-8 year’s professional experience in finance with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as Finance Manager in industrial / production environments
• Deep understanding of end-to-end finance, covering both accounting and controlling processes of manufacturing operations
• Fluent in English, both oral and written
• SAP knowledge
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated value creation mindset in partnering with senior stakeholders / decision-makers
• High sense of accountability, team management and development
